Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island Announces Winners of 25th Annual Pro-Am Golf Classic

 

Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island announces the winners of the 25th  annual William P. Stevens, Jr. Pro-Am Classic held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Berkeley Hall Golf Club North Course.  Corporate Sponsor, Palmetto Electric Cooperative’s team  finished in first place. Tray Hunter, Scott Hammon, Lewie Davis and Jimmy Baker, along with pro J.D. Coccia of Moss Creek.   There was a three-way tie for first place among our professionals, with Kieran Staunton and Jacob Marques of Berkeley Hall, and Matt Lucchesi of Colleton River carding 68s.

More than 140 amateurs and pros hit the greens on a beautiful Lowcountry day to help VIM HHI give the gift of good health to our community’s medically underserved and their families.  The winner of the raffle to win two passes to the third round of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club was Robert Hammer of Darien, CT., son of longtime VIM HHI Psychiatrist, Carl Hammer.
