Dear Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island Family:
Thanks to the Heritage Classic Foundation, Birdies for Charity is a very simple and fun way to help raise funds for Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island.
To participate, make a pledge based on the number of birdies you think will be made at this year’s RBC Heritage, taking place April 9-15, 2018. Pledges will be accepted through March 31. Last year, 1,398 birdies were made by the PGA Tour golfers. Once the 2018 tournament is over, the birdies will be tallied and pledge bills sent out requesting payment. When received, the Foundation will provide VIM HHI with a check in the full amount of the pledges, plus a portion that the Heritage Classic Foundation contributes to the fund. Last year, we received close to $15,000 thanks to the Heritage Classic Foundation, our volunteers and our generous donors.
